This class is designed for children in Years 3 & 4 at Primary school. It is a combination class of Ballet & Tap.

Ballet teaches good posture and alignment alongside developing musicality, grace and flexibility. Children are encouraged to be creative and imaginative throughout the class and we often use games, props and stories to keep every lesson memorable and interactive.

Tap teaches rhythm, balance and co-ordination skills. Students will learn an understanding of foot and arm alignment, terminology as well as working on individual style. Tap is particularly good for cognitive development and cardiovascular health.

The Y3 & Y4 Ballet and Tap class take part in our Christmas & Summer showcases, where we perform to friends and family at a local theatre. We also hold annual “Parent Watching Weeks” where we invite parents to come and see their children in class.

*For TRIAL pupils - please wear black shorts or leggings and a T-shirt. Children will also need to bring a drink.
