This is a fun, energetic street dance class for children in Year 8+. The aim of the class is to build confidence, form friendships and learn some cool dance moves!
We dance to a range of up-beat chart music, old skool anthems, trending TikToks and classic hip hop. Children are encouraged to develop their own choreography skills and to interpret the music in their own unique way.
The Y8+ Commercial class takes part in our Christmas & Summer showcases, where we perform to friends and family at a local theatre.
The uniform for this class is: Black Dancewear. Students will also need skin tone jazz shoes for performances. These can be purchased from www.hai.mydancestore.co.uk.
*For TRIAL pupils - please wear black shorts or leggings and a T-shirt. Children will also need to bring a drink.
